My work day started like any other typical day. I settle into my home office, turned on the computer and got to work. Mid-morning I took a break and checked my Facebook account to find a post in the Vegan New Hampshire group about vegan cookies available from a local company, Bearded Baking Co.
Now, if you are vegan, you know how exciting it is to find out a baker in your town is serving vegan cookies. And, not just one type of cookie, but multiple types!
I jumped into my car and headed over to the store that I had passed many times before but never thought of stopping. Well, let me say… BEST… DECISION….EVER!
This is a lovely bakery, with a friendly staff, in a super convenient location. I ordered 4 vegan chocolate chip cookies, 4 vegan sugar cookies, and 4 vegan peanut butter stuffed cookies. Writing this post was a great excuse to try all three immediately and now I have a problem. They are all so amazing I can’t decide which I like best. My wife occasionally grabs a pack of vegan chocolate chip cookies from Whole Foods. They are nice to have but not the best quality. I am excited to have a new “go-to” location for cookies. I was told that they occasionally have vegan donuts and other goodies too. Can you tell I am excited? The Bearded Baking Co. has another location in Manchester. I highly suggest you stop in to either location and give them a try. If you do, be sure to come back and leave a comment about your experience.
