  • The Vegan Society. Founded in 1944 by Donald Watson. Based in the UK, the Vegan Society’s website offers an excellent array of resources for vegans and individuals who are vegan curious. Make sure you signup for their newsletter.
  • Vegan Outreach. Vegan Outreach is a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to end violence towards animals. They seek a future when sentient animals are no longer exploited as commodities. Vegan Outreach is home to the 10 Weeks to Vegan program, they run VeganHealth.org – a resource for nutrition support from registered dieticians, the Green Tuesday Initiative, and the Vegan Chef Challenge.
  • Farm Sanctuary. Farm Sanctuary fights the disastrous effects of animal agriculture on animals, the environment, social justice, and public health through rescue, education, and advocacy.
  • Mercy for Animals. Mercy for Animal’s mission is to end industrial animal agriculture by constructing a just and sustainable food system.
  • Compassion Over Killing. Compassion Over Killing is a national nonprofit animal protection organization based in Washington, DC with a second office in Los Angeles. Working to end animal abuse since 1995, Compassion Over Killing relies on a variety of strategies to expose cruelty to farmed animals and promote vegetarian eating as a way to build a kinder world for all animals. 
  • Vegan Hacktivists. Vegan Hacktivists mission is to build data-driven, disruptive, and innovative projects to help see an end to animal exploitation. They believe the animal protection movement has five fundamental areas for improvement, which they aim to solve through our work.
  • Project Animal Freedom. At Project Animal Freedom, we strive to build a fully vegan Midwest by 2056 by mobilizing activists across the Midwest, building thriving animal rights communities, and inspiring large-scale generosity to benefit more-than-human animals.
  • Humane Decisions. Humane Decisions’ mission is devoted to ending the suffering, domination, exploitations, abuse, enslavement and use of animals worldwide for reasons of food, pleasure, convenience, entertainment and all other unnecessary reasons, by providing resources and information to shift both individuals and collective consciousness and actions to living a fully compassionate life that is completely free of animal products and one that recognizes animal’s sentience and inclusion in our moral community.
  • Animal and Vegan Advocacy Summit. The AVA Summit events are organized by AVA International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world in which animals are taken out of the food system and other human uses.
  • Planted Society. Planted Society actively collaborates with city governments and small businesses, spearheading community-wide dining initiatives that incentivize and celebrate the adoption of plant-based choices.
